Dopo il Grand D\u00e9part in Danimarca e il passaggio in Belgio nella sesta tappa, l&#8217;edizione numero 109 della Grande Boucle approda in Svizzera con l&#8217;ottava frazione, la prima di due giornate sul suolo elvetico. Si partir\u00e0 comunque dalla Francia, pi\u00f9 precisamente da <strong>Dole<\/strong>, e solo nella seconda met\u00e0 di gara si andr\u00e0 oltreconfine, con il traguardo che sar\u00e0 posto a <strong>Lausanne<\/strong> al termine di 186,5 chilometri abbastanza movimentati, anche se dei quattro GPM in programma nessuno sar\u00e0 particolarmente lungo o impegnativo. Successivamente si comincer\u00e0 leggermente a salire verso il traguardo volante di giornata di <strong>Montrod<\/strong>, posto dopo 46,9 chilometri dal via, passato il quale si affronter\u00e0 un tratto pi\u00f9 tranquillo prima di tornare a risalire per una decina di chilometri. Il primo GPM, classificato di quarta categoria, sar\u00e0 la <strong>C\u00f4te du Mar\u00e9chet<\/strong> (2 km al 5,7%), che i corridori incontreranno dopo 75,6 chilometri dal via, dopo la quale verr\u00e0 percorso un breve tratto di falsopiano prima di una rapida discesa, che sar\u00e0 seguita dalla salita non classificata del Col de Savine.<\/p>\n<p>Dopo una discesa di cinque chilometri verso Morez, si affronter\u00e0 quindi la <strong>C\u00f4te des Rousses<\/strong> (6,7 km al 5%), scollinata la quale non inizier\u00e0 la discesa ma ci sar\u00e0 un lungo tratto in quota di 30 chilometri che consentir\u00e0 di attraversare il confine con la Svizzera e porter\u00e0 fino ai piedi del <strong>Col de P\u00e9tra F\u00e9lix<\/strong> (2,4 km all&#8217;1,5%), penultimo GPM della tappa. Dalla vetta mancheranno 50 chilometri alla conclusione, i primi 30 di discesa (pi\u00f9 ripida nella prima parte, pi\u00f9 dolce nella seconda) e i successivi 15 pianeggianti, che porteranno il gruppo all&#8217;inizio della salita finale <strong>C\u00f4te du Stade Olympique<\/strong>. Lunga 4800 metri, questa ascesa proporr\u00e0 una pendenza media del 4,6%, falsata per\u00f2 da un chilometro di discesa che, in sostanza, la divider\u00e0 in due parti. Ovviamente, in questo caso sono numerosi i nomi di corridori che possiamo fare, ma tra i tanti ce ne sono alcuni che, per le caratteristiche e per il loro piazzamento in classifica, possono essere maggiormente presi in considerazione in questa nostra analisi. Parliamo di uomini come <strong>Bauke Mollema<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo), <strong>Warren Barguil<\/strong> (Arkea-Samsic), <strong>Tim Wellens<\/strong> (Lotto Soudal), <strong>Jakob Fuglsang<\/strong> e <strong>Michael Woods<\/strong> (Israel-Premier Tech), corridori esperti e resistenti, che in passato sono spesso riusciti a coronare con successo degli attacchi a lunga gittata (o quanto meno ci sono andati vicino in pi\u00f9 occasioni).<\/p>\n<p>Tra coloro che hanno gi\u00e0 un ritardo importante in classifica generale, e che quindi non costituirebbero una preoccupazione per gli altri uomini di classifica, possiamo citare <strong>Alexey Lutsenko<\/strong> (Astana Qazaqstan), che su un arrivo come quello di questa tappa ha sicuramente le caratteristiche per ottenere un buon risultato. Anche <strong>Ben O&#8217;Connor<\/strong> (Ag2r Citroen) \u00e8 uno dei delusi di questa prima settimana che potrebbe cercare riscatto in questa giornata, cos\u00ec come <strong>Ion Izagirre<\/strong> (Cofidis), <strong>Michael Storer<\/strong> (Groupama-FDJ), <strong>Georg Zimmermann<\/strong> (Intermarch\u00e9-Wanty-Gobert) e <strong>Ruben Guerreiro<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), tutti corridori che hanno dimostrato di non aver paura di andare all&#8217;attacco da lontano e che vanno forte sui percorsi movimentati.<\/p>\n<p>Attenzione, poi, a quegli atleti gi\u00e0 andati in fuga nelle scorse tappe e che potrebbero quindi riprovarci in questa giornata. Il primo nome che viene in mente \u00e8 sicuramente quello di <strong>Magnus Cort<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), che potrebbe tentare di guadagnare altri punti per la Maglia a Pois visti i quattro GPM in programma. Un altro corridore da non sottovalutare \u00e8 poi quello di <strong>Taco Van Der Hoorn<\/strong> (Intermarch\u00e9-Wanty-Gobert), che ha sfiorato il successo nella quinta tappa, senza dimenticare <strong>Quinn Simmons<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo), autore di una lunga fuga nella sesta frazione. A questi possiamo aggiungere <strong>Dylan Teuns<\/strong> (Bahrain Victorious), <strong>Simon Geschke<\/strong> (Cofidis), <strong>Lennard K\u00e4mna<\/strong> e <strong>Maximilian Schachmann<\/strong> (Bora-hansgrohe), ma per questi ultimi sar\u00e0 importante capire come avranno recuperato dagli sforzi fatti nella Tomblaine \u2013 La Super Planche des Belles Filles.<\/p>\n<p>Per questo motivo, potrebbe essere pi\u00f9 facile vedere all&#8217;attacco alcuni loro compagni di squadra, come <strong>Matej Mohoric<\/strong> (Bahrain Victorious), <strong>Benjamin Thomas<\/strong> (Cofidis), <strong>Felix Gro\u00dfschartner<\/strong> e <strong>Patrick Konrad<\/strong> (Bora-hansgrohe). Tra i corridori adatti al percorso di questa tappa possiamo poi citare <strong>Sepp Kuss<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma), <strong>Benoit Cosnefroy<\/strong> (Ag2r Citroen), <strong>Valentin Madouas<\/strong> (Groupama-FDJ), <strong>Andreas Kron<\/strong> (Lotto Soudal), <strong>Mikkel Honor\u00e9<\/strong> (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), <strong>Alexis Vuillermoz<\/strong> (TotalEnergies), <strong>Franck Bonnamour<\/strong> (B&amp;B Hotels-KTM), <strong>Carlos Verona<\/strong> e <strong>Matteo Jorgenson<\/strong> (Movistar). Per l&#8217;Italia, le maggiori possibilit\u00e0 di lasciare il segno saranno affidate ad <strong>Andrea Bagioli<\/strong> (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) e <strong>Alberto Bettiol<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), ma non bisogna dimenticarsi che si arriva in Svizzera, dunque attenzione anche a corridori elvetici quali <strong>Silvan Dillier<\/strong> (Alpecin-Deceuninck), <strong>Stefan K\u00fcng<\/strong>\u00a0(Groupama-FDJ) e <strong>Stefan Bissegger<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), che vorranno provare a mettersi in mostra sulle strade di casa.<\/p>\n<p>Naturalmente, non si pu\u00f2 escludere che alla fine sia il gruppo a giocarsi la vittoria, e in questo caso uno dei favoriti principali \u00e8 sicuramente <strong>Wout Van Aert<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma), che comunque potrebbe anche attaccare da lontano, come gi\u00e0 fatto negli scorsi giorni. In tal caso, sarebbe bello vedere uno scontro con il rivale di sempre <strong>Mathieu Van Der Poel<\/strong> (Alpecin-Deceuninck), che per\u00f2 al momento non sembra avere la condizione per poter lottare per la vittoria.
