La frazione che prender\u00e0 il via da <strong>Lille<\/strong>, infatti, potrebbe rappresentare il primo momento decisivo di questa edizione della Grande Boucle. Lungo i 157 chilometri che porteranno il gruppo ad <strong>Arenberg<\/strong>, i corridori dovranno affrontare 11 tratti di pav\u00e9 per un totale di 19,4 chilometri sulle pietre per una tappa che, oltre a richiamare la Parigi &#8211; Roubaix, ricorda quella del 2014 (anche allora fu la quinta) che fu decisiva per la vittoria di Vincenzo Nibali. Le difficolt\u00e0 inizieranno dopo un&#8217;ottantina di chilometri col primo degli undici tratti in pav\u00e9, concentrati negli ultimi 77 chilometri, che i corridori dovranno affrontare, quello che porta da <strong>Villers-au-Tertre<\/strong> a <strong>Fressain<\/strong>, il numero 11 (i settori, come avviene alla Parigi &#8211; Roubaix, sono numerati in maniera decrescente).<\/p>\n<p>Ma sar\u00e0 col secondo tratto, quello da <strong>Eswars<\/strong> a <strong>Paillencourt<\/strong> (1600 metri), affrontato dopo 100,6 chilometri dalla partenza, che la corsa potrebbe definitivamente esplodere. Gli altri nove settori, infatti, si susseguiranno in rapida successione a cominciare dal tratto da <strong>Wasnes-au-Bac<\/strong> a <strong>Marcq-en-Ostrevent<\/strong> (1400 metri), posto dopo 106,5 chilometri, seguito dai numeri dall&#8217;8 al 6, vale a dire <strong>Merchicourt &#8211; Monchecourt<\/strong>, <strong>Auberchicourt &#8211; \u00c9merchicour<\/strong> e <strong>Abscon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A 30,3 chilometri dal traguardo, il gruppo affronter\u00e0 il tratto di 2800 metri tra <strong>Erre<\/strong> e <strong>Wandignies-Hamage<\/strong>, che faceva parte del lungo settore da Hornaing a Wandignies della Parigi &#8211; Roubaix. Anche i settori 4 e 3, da <strong>Warlaing<\/strong> a <strong>Briillon<\/strong> e da <strong>Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes<\/strong> a <strong>Sars-et-Rosi\u00e8res<\/strong>, entrambi lunghi 2400 metri, facevano parte dell&#8217;ultima edizione disputata ad aprile. Sono comunque quattro le formazioni che sembrano meglio attrezzate per questa frazione dal momento che non hanno nessun uomo di classifica da tutelare: si tratta soprattutto di Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl, Intermarch\u00e9 -Wanty &#8211; Gobert, Lotto Soudal e\u00a0Alpecin &#8211; Deceuninck.<\/p>\n<p>Proprio il capitano di quest&#8217;ultima,\u00a0<strong>Mathieu van der Poel,\u00a0<\/strong>\u00e8 tra i pi\u00f9 attesi. Dopo essersi nascosto nelle ultime frazioni per velocisti, il fenomeno neerlandese vorr\u00e0 sicuramente essere protagonista e provare a rispondere al meglio alla vittoria di oggi del suo rivale <strong>Wout van Aert\u00a0<\/strong>(Jumbo-Visma). Il belga finora ha goduto di grande libert\u00e0 da parte del suo team e domani potrebbe provare a lanciarsi nell&#8217;ennesimo duello con il neerlandese, che tra l&#8217;altro non ha mai nascosto di puntare a questa tappa per provare ad indossare la Maglia Gialla. Per il vincitore della tappa di oggi rimane, per\u00f2, l&#8217;incognita di dover dare un&#8217;occhiata anche ai propri capitani: se Primoz Roglic e Jonas Vingegaard dovessero trovarsi in difficolt\u00e0, \u00e8 probabile che possa venire chiamato al sacrificio.<\/p>\n<p>Tra i pi\u00f9 accreditati per provare ad approfittare della rivalit\u00e0 dei due ex ciclocrossisti c&#8217;\u00e8 sicuramente\u00a0<strong>Yves Lampaert\u00a0<\/strong>(Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl): quest&#8217;anno \u00e8 stato grande protagonista alla Parigi &#8211; Roubaix (almeno fino alla rocambolesca caduta contro uno spettatore) e con la vittoria nella cronometro iniziale ha fatto vedere che la condizione \u00e8 buona. La formazione di Patrick Lefevere \u00e8 tradizionalmente la squadra di riferimento nelle classiche e questa tappa vi assomiglia tremendamente. Inoltre, non avendo uomini di classifica da proteggere la formazione belga potr\u00e0 contare su tutte le frecce al proprio arco che comprendono anche corridori del calibro di <strong>Florian S\u00e9n\u00e9chal<\/strong> e <strong>Kasper Asgreen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A proposito dell&#8217;ultima edizione dell&#8217;Inferno del Nord, domani sar\u00e0 in corsa anche il vincitore <strong>Dylan Van Baarle\u00a0<\/strong>(Ineos Grenadiers), che per\u00f2 potrebbe essere sacrificato per aiutare i compagni che puntano alla classifica generale. La formazione britannica schiera anche <strong>Filippo Ganna<\/strong> e <strong>Tom Pidcock<\/strong>, altri due corridori che, in caso di giornata di libert\u00e0, potrebbero dire la loro.<\/p>\n<p>Se parliamo di ex vincitori della terza classica monumento dell&#8217;anno, non possiamo non menzionare\u00a0<strong>Peter Sagan\u00a0<\/strong>(TotalEnergies): il campione slovacco sembra aver ritrovato la gamba dei giorni migliori e domani prover\u00e0 sicuramente ad inventarsi qualcosa, potendo contare anche sulla collaborazione di <strong>Anthony Turgis<\/strong>, altro corridore a proprio agio sul pav\u00e9. Tra coloro che sono gi\u00e0 stati protagonisti in passato sulle pietre della Roubaix, attenzione anche a <strong>Florian Vermeersch\u00a0<\/strong>(Lotto Soudal), secondo nell&#8217;epica edizione autunnale del 2021 vinta da Sonny Colbrelli, e <strong>Nils Politt\u00a0<\/strong>(Bora-hansgorhe), grande passista che per\u00f2 potrebbe anche essere chiamato a supportare il capitano Aleksandr Vlasov.<\/p>\n<p>A proposito di passisti da tenere sott&#8217;occhio anche <strong>Stefan K\u00fcng\u00a0<\/strong>(Groupama-FDJ), che dopo una cronometro opaca domani vorr\u00e0 sicuramente provare ad essere protagonista. Attenzione, poi, ad <strong>Alexander Kristoff\u00a0<\/strong>(Intermarch\u00e9-Wanty-Gobert): il norvegese non ha nessun capitano per la classifica generale da aiutare e con il supporto del compagno di squadra <strong>Andrea Pasqualon<\/strong>, potrebbe andare in caccia di un risultato di prestigio.\u00a0Sono comunque tanti gli uomini da classiche al via di questo Tour de France che domani potrebbero provare a dire la loro, a partire dalla coppia della\u00a0Trek &#8211; Segafredo formata da <strong>Mads Pedersen\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0<strong>Jasper Stuyven<\/strong>: la formazione statunitense ha, infatti, gi\u00e0 da tempo abbandonato qualsiasi velleit\u00e0 di classifica, lasciando quindi i suoi corridori liberi di andare in caccia di un successo parziale. Discorso diverso, invece, per\u00a0<strong>Matej Mohori\u010d <\/strong>(Bahrain Victorious) che a seconda di come si svolger\u00e0 la corsa potrebbe anche essere utilizzato per aiutare i propri capitani.<\/p>\n<p>Se\u00a0<strong>Michael Matthews<\/strong> (BikeExchange-Jayco) sar\u00e0 il leader unico della sua squadra, altri team possono puntare su pi\u00f9 carte: la Lotto Soudal, per esempio, oltre che con Vermeersch potr\u00e0 provare a fare risultato anche con\u00a0<strong>Philippe Gilbert\u00a0<\/strong>e\u00a0<strong>Tim Wellens<\/strong>. L&#8217;Italia, invece, si affider\u00e0 soprattutto ad\u00a0<strong>Alberto Bettiol\u00a0<\/strong>(EF Education-EasyPost): il toscano non ha mai pedalato nell&#8217;Inferno del Nord, ma non \u00e8 cos\u00ec impossibile che un vincitore del Giro delle Fiandre possa brillare anche in una frazione come quella di domani.
