Dopo le prime tre frazioni in terra danese, la Grande Boucle riparte da <strong>Dunkerque<\/strong> con 171,5 chilometri che potrebbero risultare ben pi\u00f9 insidiosi del previsto. Il percorso proceder\u00e0 verso sud, parallelo al confine belga, fino alla prima difficolt\u00e0 altimetrica, la <strong>C\u00f4te de Cassel<\/strong> (1,7 km al 4,2%) posta dopo una trentina di chilometri dal via.<\/p>\n<p>Il traguardo volante di <strong>Lumbres<\/strong>, dopo 63,2 chilometri, contribuir\u00e0 a movimentare ulteriormente la situazione prima di un tratto che potrebbe rivelarsi decisivo per l&#8217;esito di questa frazione. Saranno, infatti, ben quattro le c\u00f4tes che i corridori dovranno affrontare racchiuse in una cinquantina di chilometri a partire dalla <strong>C\u00f4te de Remilly-Wirquin<\/strong> (1,1 km al 6,8%) posta dopo 71,8 chilometri, proseguendo con la rapida successione di <strong>C\u00f4te de Nielles-les-Bl\u00e9quin<\/strong> (1,1 al 7,7%) e la <strong>C\u00f4te de Harlettes<\/strong> (1,3 al 6%) e concludendo con la <strong>C\u00f4te du Ventus<\/strong> (1,1 al 4,8%) dopo 123,6 chilometri. La Maglia Gialla \u00e8 in grado di imporsi sia in una volata di gruppo, sia, nel caso ci fosse pi\u00f9 selezione, in uno sprint pi\u00f9 ristretto. Come ha dichiarato lui stesso, il belga punter\u00e0 alla vittoria in praticamente ogni tappa da qui alla fine del Tour e questa potrebbe essere particolarmente adatta ad esaltarne le caratteristiche.<\/p>\n<p>Sono diversi gli scenari che potrebbero aprirsi nel corso di questa frazione. In caso di arrivo di un gruppo nutrito a giocarsi il successo in volata con tutti i velocisti presenti, allora ci aspettiamo di ritrovare protagonisti gli sprinter che hanno animato le prime due volate di questo Tour de France. Impossibile, quindi, non prendere in considerazione <strong>Fabio Jakobsen<\/strong> (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), vincitore della seconda tappa sul traguardo di Nyborg, che avr\u00e0 l&#8217;intera squadra a proteggerlo e ad aiutarlo anche sulle c\u00f4tes, anche se il percorso non sembra essere troppo adatto per le sue caratteristiche. Doppia opzione in casa Alpecin &#8211; Deceuninck con <strong>Jasper Philipsen<\/strong> che, dopo tanti piazzamenti, punta con decisione al suo primo successo sulle strade della Grande Boucle e che potrebbe resistere sulle asperit\u00e0 di giornata. Anche se la carta da giocare per la squadra belga sar\u00e0 soprattutto <strong>Mathieu van der Poel <\/strong>che su un percorso di questo tipo potrebbe trovare il terreno ideale per provare ad attaccare anche da lontano, come spesso lo abbiamo visto fare.<\/p>\n<p>Coppia per tutte le evenienze anche quella del Team BikeExchange &#8211; Jayco con <strong>Michael Matthews<\/strong> che dovrebbe trovare l&#8217;occasione per mettersi in mostra in una tappa adatta alle sue caratteristiche, mentre il percorso appare sulla carta troppo duro per <strong>Dylan Groenewegen<\/strong> le cui quotazioni salirebbero esponenzialmente qualora fosse ancora nel gruppo di testa dopo l&#8217;ultima c\u00f4te. Potrebbe, invece, essere un osso duro per tutti <strong>Mads Pedersen<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo) che ha mostrato un&#8217;ottima gamba nelle prime tre tappe. Il danese cercava un successo sulle strade di casa ma il suo stato di forma e le sue qualit\u00e0 su percorsi mossi lo pongono tra gli uomini da tenere in considerazione per il successo.<\/p>\n<p>Sar\u00e0 chiamato a riscattare le prime due volate <strong>Caleb Ewan<\/strong> (Lotto Soudal). Lo sprinter australiano era tra i pi\u00f9 attesi ma non \u00e8, di fatto, ancora riuscito a partecipare ad una volata. Le sue capacit\u00e0 di tenere sulle brevi asperit\u00e0 sono note e questo potrebbe consentirgli di presentarsi sul traguardo di Calais in una posizione di vantaggio rispetto ai velocisti puri. Buoni segnali, invece, quelli fatti vedere da <strong>Peter Sagan<\/strong> (TotalEnergies), battuto di pochissimo, e non senza polemiche, sul traguardo di S\u00f8nderborg. Anche il campione slovacco potrebbe avvantaggiarsi da una tappa di questo tipo che assomiglia ad una breve classica, con molte ruote veloci che potrebbero perdere terreno strada facendo.<\/p>\n<p>Potrebbe trovare terreno adatto alle sue caratteristiche anche <strong>Alexander Kristoff<\/strong> (Intermarch\u00e9-Wanty-Gobert), un altro di quei corridori che si augura una tappa con pi\u00f9 selezione in modo tale da tagliar fuori dai giochi i velocisti puri e poter sprintare in un gruppo ristretto. L&#8217;esperto norvegese potr\u00e0 sempre contare sul prezioso supporto di <strong>Andrea Pasqualon<\/strong>, a sua volta a proprio agio su un percorso di questo tipo e prima alternativa in caso di giornata no del compagno di squadra. Potrebbero avvantaggiarsi delle asperit\u00e0 presenti lungo il percorso anche corridori come <strong>Danny Van Poppel<\/strong> (Bora-hansgrohe), apparso in buona forma nelle prime due volate, <strong>Hugo Hofstetter<\/strong> (Ark\u00e9a-Samsic) e <strong>Jasper Stuyven<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo). Al contrario, invece, cercher\u00e0 di resistere <strong>Alberto Dainese<\/strong> (Team DSM), anche se, all&#8217;interno della sua squadra l&#8217;uomo di punta per questa tappa dovrebbe essere <strong>John Degenkolb<\/strong>, le cui caratteristiche ben si adattano ad un tracciato pi\u00f9 impegnativo.<\/p>\n<p>Con l&#8217;arrivo in Francia, proveranno a mettersi in mostra anche le formazioni di casa, piuttosto nascoste nelle tappe danesi ma solitamente combattive nel GT casalingo. Corridori come <strong>Max Walscheid<\/strong> (Cofidis), <strong>Oliver Naesen<\/strong> (Ag2r Citroen), <strong>J\u00e9r\u00e9my Lecroq<\/strong> (B&amp;B Hotels-KTM) e <strong>Amaury Capiot<\/strong> (Ark\u00e9a-Samsic) potrebbero dire la loro sia con una fuga che in un arrivo di un gruppo ristretto.
