Dopo il prologo sulle strade di Copenaghen, la prima frazione in linea di questa edizione della Grande Boucle partir\u00e0 da <strong>Roskilde<\/strong>, antica capitale del regno di Danimarca, per affrontare un tracciato di 202,2 chilometri che, a livello altimetrico, non proporr\u00e0 particolari difficolt\u00e0. Una giornata all&#8217;apparenza semplice e perfetta per assistere a una volata di gruppo, ma attenzione al pericolo vento: gran parte del percorso, infatti, costegger\u00e0 il mare e, soprattutto nel finale, quando si attraverser\u00e0 il lungo Ponte sul Grande Belt pochi chilometri prima del traguardo di <strong>Nyborg<\/strong>, il plotone potrebbe spezzarsi in pi\u00f9 tronconi a causa dei ventagli. In seguito, invece, nel giro di venti chilometri i corridori affronteranno in rapida successione i primi GPM di questa edizione della Grande Boucle, la <strong>C\u00f4te d&#8217;Asn\u00e6s Indelukke<\/strong> (1,1 km al 5,4%), la <strong>C\u00f4te d&#8217;H\u00f8ve Str\u00e6de<\/strong> (800 m al 6%) e la <strong>C\u00f4te de K\u00e5rup Strandbakke<\/strong> (1,3 km al 5,8%), tre brevi strappi utili soprattutto per assegnare la prima Maglia a Pois.<\/p>\n<p>Superato questo tratto, la strada torner\u00e0 nuovamente pianeggiante, ma da qui fino all&#8217;arrivo il vento potrebbe farsi sentire in misura maggiore perch\u00e9 la carovana fianchegger\u00e0 costantemente il mare, transitando dallo sprint intermedio di <strong>Kalundborg<\/strong> a 75 chilometri dal traguardo e dirigendosi quindi verso Kors\u00f8r. Qui, ai -21,1 dalla conclusione, il gruppo approccer\u00e0 il primo troncone del <strong>Ponte sul Grande Belt<\/strong>, diviso dal secondo dall&#8217;isolotto di Sprog\u00f8, per un totale di 18 chilometri sopra al mare quasi tutti in rettilineo ed esposti al vento laterale, che potrebbe rompere il plotone in pi\u00f9 parti. In entrambi i casi, tuttavia, possiamo indicare in <strong>Wout Van Aert<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma) uno dei principali favoriti per questa tappa. Uomo da classiche del nord, abituato dunque al vento, e dotato anche di un ottimo spunto veloce, il belga vorr\u00e0 provare subito a riscattare il secondo posto nella crono inaugurale; con una vittoria, inoltre, arriverebbe quasi sicuramente la Maglia Gialla, senza considerare che inizierebbe a mettere gi\u00e0 fieno in cascina nella classifica a punti, suo obiettivo di quest&#8217;anno.<\/p>\n<p>In caso di volata di gruppo compatto, per\u00f2, i rivali per il belga non mancano, a partire da <strong>Fabio Jakobsen<\/strong> (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), uno dei migliori velocisti al via della corsa. Il neerlandese, che in stagione ha gi\u00e0 conquistato ben dieci vittorie, pu\u00f2 contare su uno dei treni migliori per gli sprint, dunque, se sar\u00e0 volata, il suo sar\u00e0 uno dei nomi principali da tenere d&#8217;occhio. Suoi rivali principali saranno con buona probabilit\u00e0 <strong>Caleb Ewan<\/strong> (Lotto Soudal), in cerca di riscatto dopo un Giro d&#8217;Italia abbastanza deludente, <strong>Jasper Philipsen<\/strong> (Alpecin-Fenix), alla caccia di quel successo solo sfiorato lo scorso anno sulle strade della Grande Boucle, e <strong>Dylan Groenewegen<\/strong> (Team BikeExchange-Jayco), tornato al Tour a tre anni di distanza dall&#8217;ultima volta, quando riusc\u00ec a conquistare una tappa.<\/p>\n<p>Rispetto ai corridori appena citati, in una volata per velocisti puri partono un gradino sotto sprinter come <strong>Alberto Dainese<\/strong> (Team DSM), <strong>Hugo Hofstetter<\/strong> (Arkea-Samsic), <strong>Danny Van Poppel<\/strong> (Bora-hansgrohe), corridori dotati comunque di un buono spunto, che se ben posizionati potrebbero anche lottare per il successo. Lo stesso pu\u00f2 valere per atleti del calibro di <strong>Alexander Kristoff<\/strong> (Intermarch\u00e9-Wanty-Gobert), <strong>Peter Sagan<\/strong> (TotalEnergies), <strong>Magnus Cort<\/strong> (EF Education-EasyPost), <strong>Michael Matthews<\/strong> (Team BikeExchange-Jayco), <strong>Mads Pedersen<\/strong> e <strong>Jasper Stuyven<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo), tutti corridori che, tuttavia, hanno anche le capacit\u00e0 per riuscire a rimanere davanti in caso il gruppo si spezzasse per il vento, sfruttando la situazione per imporsi con il loro spunto veloce.<\/p>\n<p>Se si verificasse questa eventualit\u00e0, non mancano gli uomini da classiche abili a destreggiarsi in queste situazioni. Un nome su tutti \u00e8 ovviamente quello di <strong>Mathieu Van Der Poel<\/strong> (Alpecin-Fenix), ma in queste occasioni a emergere sono spessissimo i corridori della Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl, che potr\u00e0 contare su <strong>Florian Senechal<\/strong>, <strong>Kasper Asgreen<\/strong> e la Maglia Gialla <strong>Yves Lampaert<\/strong> per provare a spezzare il plotone.
