La nota citt\u00e0 della costa azzurra sar\u00e0 infatti sede di partenza e arrivo anche della seconda frazione, ma questa volta lo scenario \u00e8 diverso e il gruppo \u00e8 atteso da 186 chilometri ben pi\u00f9 duri del tracciato inaugurale, dedicato sostanzialmente alle ruote veloci. Raddoppiano infatti i GPM in programma, che sono inoltre di ben altra entit\u00e0 rispetto ai semplici ostacoli disseminati oggi lungo un percorso reso pi\u00f9 insidioso dalla pioggia. I p\u00e8i\u00f9 difficili sono nella prima met\u00e0 di corsa, ma pendenze e distanze cos\u00ec proibitive restano nelle gambe. Se dunque Col de la Colmane (16,3km al 6,3%) e Col de Turini (14,9km al 7,4%) appaiono troppo distanti per poter intervenire realmente nelle tattiche di corsa, se non in quelle di coloro che vogliono competere per la maglia a pois, sono le due salite successive quelle in cui potremmo gi\u00e0 vedere i big darsi battaglia.<\/p>\n<p>La doppia scalata al Col d&#8217;Eze (7,8km al 6,1%), che nella seconda ascesa non prosegue sino al termine ma si ferma dopo 5,8 chilometri con il traguardo bonus posto al Col des Quatre Chemins \u00e8 infatti una buona occasione per cominciare a saggiare la propria gamba e quella dei rivali. Forse i massimi contendenti ancora non si muoveranno direttamente in prima persona, ma potr\u00e0 comunque essere una buona chance per vedere all&#8217;opera le squadre pi\u00f9 attese e comprendere gli equilibri in gruppo.<\/p>\n<p>Non ci si aspettano dunque distacchi molto elevati, anche se qualche seconda linea potrebbe voler cercare subito di lasciare la propria impronta sulla corsa, in particolare i corridori pi\u00f9 agili e pi\u00f9 veloci, che possono cercare di fare la differenza anche allo sprint, cercando in precedenza di ridurre il numero di elementi in gruppo. Perci\u00f2 \u00e8 proprio il corridore transalpino il favorito numero uno di domani. E non solo per la vittoria di tappa: infatti, come si augurano i francesi, domani potrebbe tornare ad indossare anche quella Maglia Gialla che ha portato sulle spalle per gran parte del Tour dello scorso anno. L&#8217;unica incognita che pesa su di lui sono le possibili conseguenze della caduta durante la tappa di oggi. Anche se \u00e8 rientrato abbastanza rapidamente &#8211; e da solo &#8211; in gruppo, non sappiamo se l&#8217;eventuale botta si far\u00e0 sentire.<\/p>\n<p>Un altro corridore le cui caratteristiche si sposano perfettamente con questo tipo di arrivi \u00e8 <strong>Daryl Impey<\/strong> (Mitchelton-Scott), resistente sui brevi strappi e con uno spunto veloce come pochi nel gruppo, crediamo che il sudafricano abbia cerchiato in rosso la data di domani. Inoltre la sua squadra, senza un uomo per la classifica generale, ha apertamente dichiarato di puntare ai successi parziali: domani sar\u00e0 la prima occasione. Anche la Movistar \u00e8 arrivata a questo Tour per andare a caccia di vittorie di tappa e domani potrebbe essere l&#8217;occasione giusta per <strong>Alejandro Valverde<\/strong>. Nonostante fin&#8217;ora non sia apparso al meglio in questo 2020, un corridore come lui non pu\u00f2 non guardare con ambizione ad una tappa come questa.<\/p>\n<p>Ci sono molti corridori che possiedono le caratteristiche per poter essere protagonisti in una tappa come questa. Sono soprattutto corridori da classiche, capaci di resistere in salita e negli strappi e dotati di un buono spunto veloce in caso di arrivo di un gruppo ristretto. Quindi vanno tenuti in considerazione corridori come <strong>Philippe Gilbert<\/strong> (Lotto Soudal), <strong>Greg Van Avermaet<\/strong> (CCC) e <strong>Jasper Stuyven<\/strong> (Trek-Segafredo) che, soprattutto i primi due, non hanno capitani da proteggere e possono lanciarsi senza remore all&#8217;attacco. Attenzione anche alla <strong>Ag2r La Mondiale<\/strong> con\u00a0<strong>Benoit Cosnefroy<\/strong> e <strong>Oliver Naesen<\/strong> che avranno certamente carta bianca per giocarsi le loro carte. Mentre sia <strong>Davide Formolo<\/strong> (UAE Team Emirates) che <strong>Luis Leon Sanchez<\/strong> (Astana) ultimamente hanno dimostrato una gran condizione ma potrebbero essere frenati da compiti di gregariato.<\/p>\n<p>Discorso che merita anche <strong>Wout Van Aert<\/strong> (Jumbo-Visma) che, se non fosse chiamato a proteggere i propri capitani, sarebbe di diritto il favorito numero uno di questa tappa. Come da lui stesso dichiarato prima del via, in questo Tour il suo lavoro sar\u00e0 al servizio di Primoz Roglic e Tom Dumoulin, quindi difficilmente potr\u00e0 avere via libera, ma se cos\u00ec fosse&#8230; Se il ritmo di corsa non sar\u00e0 troppo duro anche alcune ruote veloci potrebbero resistere e quindi giocarsi la vittoria allo sprint, pensiamo soprattutto a <strong>Matteo Trentin<\/strong> (CCC) e <strong>Peter Sagan<\/strong> (Bora-hansgrohe) che vorr\u00e0 riscattare la delusione di oggi. Attenzione, infine, a diversi corridori che potrebbero tentare un&#8217;azione solitaria, anche da lontano, come\u00a0<strong>Tiesj Benoot<\/strong> (Sunweb), <strong>Thomas De Gendt<\/strong> (Lotto Soudal) o\u00a0<strong>Lilian Calmejane<\/strong> (Total Direct Energie).
