Adam de Vos wins Tour de Langkawi stage 3
Sprinters didn’t fight for the victory in Tour de Langkawi stage 3. Adam de Vos, in fatcs, was part of the breakaway that sitted in the lead for the most of the stage’s lenght. The Canadian took solo his first victory as a professional and, moreover, moved up in the lead of the general classification. Rally Cycling rider won over Kim Dae Yeon (KSPO Bianchi Asia Procycling), Nik Mohamad Azman Zulkifli (Forca Amskins Racing) and Harry Sweeny (Mitchelton-BikeExchange), the men who joined him in the break. De Vos holds the overall jersey and is 14″ ahead of Zulkifli, 22″ of Sweeny and he’s up by 1’19” on Riccardo Minali (Astana).
Bouhanni abandons Volta a Catalunya
Nothing to do for Nacer Bouhanni. Cofidis sprinter, who didn’t take parto to Milano-Sanremo because he felt weak after having recovered from a bronchitis, withdraws from Volta a Catalunya just after one day of racing. The Frenchmen claimed to participate to the Classicissima but his team manager Vasseur prevented Bouhanni to take part to the first seasonal Monument race and, in the light of recent developments, turns out he wasn’t wrong.
