Join us for live text coverage of Paris-Nice 2018 Stage 3 from Bourges to Châtel-Guyon. On day 1 of the French stage race we saw a photo-finish go unsurprisingly to French national Arnaud Démare, who took the yellow jersey just as he did in 2017. It was Dylan Groenewegen of Lotto-NL-Jumbo who imposed his sprint on stage 2. The Dutchman is showing great form in this early part of the season beating an impressive line up of sprinters including Elia Viviani (Quickstep), Andre Greipel (Lotto-Soudal) and Alexander Kristoff (UAE) to name only a few.
Today’s stage will not be one for the sprinters but rather the puncheurs. Not dissimilar in profile to stage one, stage three ends with a ramp of 1km at 5%, before the final kilometre sprint to the finish line. A lumpy stage overall and at 210 kilometres in length, not one we’re likely to see any sprinters make an appearance for.
